Health: Medical, Dental & Vision
Medical: Medical plans are the foundation of your health care coverage. We offer six medical Health Savings Account (HSA) plans. All options are offered through Anthem or Kaiser and include medical and prescription drug coverage. Kaiser medical plans are only available to employees living in California (based on Kaiser geographical guidelines).
Dental: Good dental health is essential for your overall well-being. Our dental coverage is offered through two CIGNA dental plans. Both dental plans offer in-network and out-of-network benefits. In-network preventive and diagnostic care, including routine cleanings and X-rays, are covered at 100% with no deductible.
Vision: Vision care is often one of the most overlooked components of healthcare. Our vision coverage is through VSP, a nationwide network of vision care providers. The vision plan offers routine eye exams, coverage for eyeglasses, contacts, frames, and more.
Transparency in Coverage (TIC) regulations require health insurers and group health plans to make available machine readable files (MRFs) that contain the negotiated rates for in-network providers and allowed amounts derived from historical claims for out-of-network providers. Paid Time Off
We recognizes that employees benefit from time away from work for a variety of reasons—all of which contribute towards a positive work-life balance for our employees. At CAES, you will receive several time away benefits including, but not limited to: Personal Time, Community Service, Military, Voting, and Jury Duty.
Both paid and unpaid time is provided in accordance with the requirements of applicable state and federal law in effect at the time the leave is granted.
401K Retirement Plan
We have partnered with Fidelity to offer employees a financial wellness strategy. Our plan offers a dollar-for-dollar match on your contributions, up to 4% of pay. In addition, you will receive a 50¢ match on each dollar you contribute on the next 2% of your pay. That means, if you contribute 6% or more of your pay, the company will contribute an additional 5%.
Keep in mind that investing involves risk; please carefully consider the investment objectives, risks, charges, and expenses. Fidelity also maintains great tools and services to manage your investments and assist you in planning for a successful retirement.
Holidays
CAES provides 11 paid holidays to all regular full-time and regular part-time employees.
Holiday Pay will be calculated based on the employee’s straight time base rate (includes shift differential) as of the date of the holiday and will be based on their normally scheduled hours for that day. Part-time employees will receive a pro-rated amount based on the number of hours they normally work.

The Educational Assistance Program supports eligible post-secondary educational efforts requested by our employees so they can enhance their job performance and develop their career potential at CAES. Courses leading to an undergraduate degrees are eligible to receive an annual reimbursement up to $7,500, while courses leading to a graduate degree are eligible to receive an annual reimbursement up to $12,500.
