Our high-performing solutions
Our customized advanced electronics include GaN-based, low noise, high speed, ultra-miniature, T/R Modules with industry leading SWaP performance. Our transmitter solutions leverage exclusive techniques and discrete GaN and MMIC solutions to provide industry-leading power densities.
Digital Receivers and Exciters
CAES provides high performance, compact, rugged, DREX modules using surface mount and hybrid chip and wire technology. End applications span radar, electronic warfare, missile and space.
Antennas and Apertures
CAES has supplied advanced antenna systems for over 40 years. We use our state-of-the-art in-house antenna test ranges and extensive environmental test capabilities to address challenging customer requirements for electronic warfare platforms and applications.
CAES' unique packaging techniques enable high performance microwave and millimeter wave converter building blocks to be configured into single and multichannel, 3U/6U or custom form-factor frequency converters.
From fixed LO generators to advanced frequency agile synthesizers, CAES Synthesizers and LOs provide the highest spectral purity with the lowest phase noise, across a broad temperature and frequency range.
Working in partnership with Trident Systems, we use our expertise in radiation hardened microelectronics and computing to address customer mission requirements in advanced RF and digital signal processing products.
CAES’ PMICs portfolio combines radiation hardened Linear Adjustable Voltage Regulators and Pulse Width Modulator controllers together with Smart Power Switch Controllers, to deliver extensive fault detection, isolation and recovery capabilities in a single package.
Offering state-of-the-art performance and SWaP optimization, our preselectors provide low noise figures, high dynamic range and state-of-the-art filter rejection with high channel-to-channel isolation front ends.
CAES RF Switches span the frequency range of 10 MHz to 18 GHz. We offer a complete design and test capability to 40 GHz and use GaAs FET switch design resources to develop new designs, build to an existing specification or replace an obsolete component.
Integrated Microwave Assemblies
CAES designs components - from prototype to production - for a wide variety of single-function devices used in radar, electronic warfare, missiles, space, CNI, test and commercial wireless systems.
Our waveguides improve the reliability of transmission and reception to enhance the overall performance of communication systems. They are used in space, defense, avionics, industrial, scientific and medical applications.
Cables and Rotary Joints
With nearly 500 custom cable designs and 5,000 custom and standard connectors, CAES has the industry’s broadest selection of cable systems for radar, electronic warfare (EW), CNI, C4ISR, satellite communications and laboratory test equipment.
Radiation Hardened and High Reliability Microelectronics
CAES’ components have been used on every satellite launched by the open international community over the past 60 years. Our heritage spans the Apollo missions and is enabling new space applications for commercial low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite communications.
